Customizable List View and more

Now you can customize the fields in the List View for a better flexibility – add/remove columns (including the custom ones), re-size and change their order to customize the view to your needs.

We also updated our color scheme by adding more contrast to it, while still letting the data stand out.

Fold/unfold columns

We have good news for those who use complex workflows with many columns/stages – things could get crowded a bit. Now you have a new feature that can help you handle it – you can fold/unfold any columns in the Board View. It allows you to manage your space better and display only the columns you want to see.

We are also constantly optimizing smartQ – those who have a high number of tickets (triple digits) – will notice a significant increase in speed.

smartQ visual task management app is now available on Google Apps Marketplace .

If you are already using Google Apps, now you can add smartQ to your apps, import your Google contacts, and use your Google login for smartQ.

Did you ever want to move tickets between different boards (projects)? Now this option is available through the ticket menu!

We just added the possibility to copy settings from an existing project to a new one – the workflow, the custom fields and team roles. Now you can use any project as a template for a new one.


Do you have a project with too many stages to fit nicely on one screen? Or may be you are on a computer with a smaller screen? Not a problem – now a horizontal scroll in smartQ will appear automatically when tickets can not fit on the screen anymore.

CSV/Excel export (in Project Performance Report) was extended with the option to list all the ticket fields, including the custom ones. Now you can export all your ticket details at any time!

smartQ interface is now available in French and Russian! Special thanks to Семен Пинигин who helped with the Russian translation. More languages are coming out soon.

All together smartQ is available in seven(!) languages now: English, Spanish, Brazilian (Portuguese), German, Italian, French and Russian!

Do you want to see smartQ translated into your language? Any smartQ user can contribute – just use the “options” menu on the top of your smartQ screen. There is a link there called “Translation Area” that will take you to the public translation area.
