We just expanded smartQ with new customization options – now you can adjust the look of your tickets in the Board View. You can switch the displayed information between ticket creator / assigned team (list or avatars) and ticket creation date / deadline. Those are personal settings and can be accessed through the “Options” menu on the top right.

Today it is the one year anniversary since smartQ has been released!

It has been a great year – we have been improving the product, collecting feedback and making plans for new features to come. We are looking forward for another great year!

Improved Board View

We just released some important Board View optimizations, aimed to decrease the load speed  and improve the interaction, especially for a high number of tickets.

We also improved the compatibility with all current Internet Explorer browsers – 7 to 10.

Search by Description

The tickets search now searches also the Description field (besides the Name).

We just added the possibility to sort by custom fields in the List View and also optimized this view performance speed.

Customizable List View and more

Now you can customize the fields in the List View for a better flexibility – add/remove columns (including the custom ones), re-size and change their order to customize the view to your needs.

We also updated our color scheme by adding more contrast to it, while still letting the data stand out.

Fold/unfold columns

We have good news for those who use complex workflows with many columns/stages – things could get crowded a bit. Now you have a new feature that can help you handle it – you can fold/unfold any columns in the Board View. It allows you to manage your space better and display only the columns you want to see.

We are also constantly optimizing smartQ – those who have a high number of tickets (triple digits) – will notice a significant increase in speed.

smartQ visual task management app is now available on Google Apps Marketplace .

If you are already using Google Apps, now you can add smartQ to your apps, import your Google contacts, and use your Google login for smartQ.
